Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to transport materials over short or long distances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of trucks to safely deliver products to different locations.
Duties:
– Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
– Follow specific instructions regarding routes and delivery schedules
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
– Maintain accurate driving logs and complete necessary paperwork
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
– Experience with manual transmission vehicles
– Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment
– Proficiency in tractor-trailer operations
– Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus
– Capability to load and unload cargo efficiently
