****This position is for GRAVEYARD SHIFT with shift differentials, located in Salem, Oregon and will remain open until filled****
Oregon Corrections Enterprises is currently recruiting for a CDL A Driver to fill open linen delivery routes in Salem, Oregon. This position provides the OCE business partners with professional front-line client relations, delivery of linen/laundry products from Salem and surrounding areas. The CDL Driver delivers durable goods, supervises & mentors adult in custody (AIC) work crews, and provides assistance in day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Work is performed to meet customer satisfaction needs in regards to timeliness and quality of delivered product. This position is part of a group of positions that bid for shifts based on seniority. While in training, shifts will be assigned, once training is completed the candidate will bid into an available shift based on seniority. This is a full time position, in a work location that operates 7 days a week. Shifts vary depending on route.

* Demonstrate experience of safe work practices
* Physical ability to safely maneuver wheel carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds with human assistance and/or mechanical aides
* The skill and ability to accurately and efficiently sort and process linen and laundry pick-ups and deliveries
* Skill and ability to safely load, secure, and deliver laundry, wood and/or metal products to customers.
* Experience in linen delivery
* Double/triple endorsements (preference will be given to applicants with endorsement)
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Active and valid CDL-A
* Three years driving record
* Product delivery experience
* Pass an initial and annual Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) criminal background check screening
* Pass pre-employment and random drug screening as a condition of employment
