Local Class B CDL Truck Driver Jobs
A Local Class B CDL is required to operate a single vehicle with a gross combination weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds or tow a vehicle not heavier than 10,000 pounds.
To obtain a Class B License you will need to do the following:
1. Take the Class B Permit test to get your commercial learners permit
2. Allow 14 days to pass since you obtained your CLP
3. Pass a Class B road skills test
Having a CDL-B License will allow you to drive Straight Trucks (Box Trucks), Buses, Segmented Buses, Delivery and Courier Trucks, Concrete Delivery Trucks, Waste Disposal Trucks/Dump Trucks, and Utility Repair Vehicles.
With the correct endorsements, a Class B CDL holder can also drive certain class C vehicles.
