Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a commercial driver\’s license and experience operating various types of trucks, including tanker, tractor-trailer, roll-off truck, and more. This is a great opportunity to work independently, manage routes, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

– Operate a variety of trucks, including tankers, tractor-trailers, and roll-off trucks, to deliver goods and supplies to customers.
– Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
– Plan and execute routes, including loading and unloading goods, to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery and any issues encountered during the delivery process.
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure they are safe and in good working condition.
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the truck and any associated equipment.
– Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations, including those related to commercial driving.
– Communicate with customers and management to ensure that delivery needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
– Drive in a safe and defensive manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
– Maintain a clean and organized driving record, adhering to all commercial driving regulations.
– Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their delivery experience.

Qualifications:

– Valid commercial driver\’s license (CDL).
– Proven experience as a delivery driver, with a focus on commercial driving.
– Experience operating a variety of trucks, including tanker, tractor-trailer, refrigerated trailer, and roll-off truck.
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving.
– Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including goods and equipment.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– Ability to work independently, managing routes and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Physical stamina and ability to drive long distances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
