Local Class A P&D Driver - HAZMAT ONLY APPLY - Hillsboro , OR

SJC Transport, Inc. d/b/a Airgroup is hiring *1 Full-Time* Class A HAZMAT Driver that can help us maintain great relationships with our customers while projecting best in class service. The successful candidate is willing to do what it takes to get the job done which may include working overtime and working safely.

*Shift:*

Hours:

8:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F

*Qualifications:*

· At least 2 year\’s driving with a Class A license and HAZMAT Endorsement

· Must be 25 years of age or older (for insurance)

· Must be able to lift up to 60lbs independently

· Must have a clean DMV record and valid driver’s license

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen; there will be random drug testing during the course of employment

· Hazmat endorsement required

· Knowledge of Portland roads required

· Excellent communication skills required

· Must be able to read a map or use GPS navigation systems

· Must be able to operate a Smartphone and Tablet proficiently

· Will be required to pass a Transportation Security Threat Assessment and Background

*Responsibilities:*

This position will require the use a liftgate, pallet jack, dolly and other tools used to load an unload own truck or to use during pickups and deliveries. Knowledge of best practice in loading with load bars and straps along with safety first is essential.

Airgroup specializes in White Glove deliveries which will require picking up or delivering inside various types of business\’s which could require, debris removal, unpacking and setup of store fixtures, tables, benches, or glass tower cases to name just a few. You must be willing to deliver to malls and other retail establishments, ride along for 2 man pickups or deliveries and work with a constantly changing schedule as new orders are presented.
