JOB DESCRIPTION
Pay
- Part Time Pay: $265 Per Day: Layover, and stop-offs included.
- Weekly Retention Bonus
Benefits and Bonuses
- Tuition Reimbursement: if we are your first employer, call for list of approved schools
- Bonuses: safety, performance and weekly retention
- No paid holidays
- Simplified Orientation: Starts online and concludes at your local terminal
- Up to a $3,100 bonus per driver referral:
- $50 every week of your referred driver’s first year
- $500 bonus when your referred driver hits 3-months
Work and Route
- Average Miles Per Day: 200 – 400
- Driver will need to be available a minimum of 24 hours to allow time for a full round trip (150-250 miles each way). More time available means more guaranteed pay!
- Dedicated Runs: to the JBS Pork plants in Ottumwa, IA but could pick up loads at other locations
- Running Area: Iowa and surrounding states, but can change at any time depending on JBS Pork needs
- No-Touch Freight: drop and hook at JBS plant; live unload by lumpers at customer locations
- Hiring Area: Ottumwa, IA Louisville, KY Marshalltown, IA Worthington, OH and Beardstown, IL – 50 mile radius
- Work Schedule: 3 days per week minimum
- Starting Days: Sunday – Tuesday
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class-A CDL with 1 year of 53′ tractor trailer experience.
- Mentor programs are available for drivers with less than a year of experience.
